adirondack friends of refugees and immigrants
Who Are We?
We are a group of activists in Elizabethtown, Essex, Keene and Keene Valley, Lewis, Westport, and Willsboro, New York, committed to doing what we can to address the current world-wide refugee crisis.
Formed in 2016 in response to the Syrian refugee crisis, Adirondack Friends of Refugees and Immigrants is a group of committed people who are exploring ways of supporting refugees and immigrants in New York State’s North Country and elsewhere. To this end, we seek to witness, educate, advocate, and assist.
